Solutions for the larger properties

Geoenergy, also called ground source heating, is a carbon neutral way of producing energy locally to the larger properties. Learn more about geoenergy and how we provide solutions for shopping centers, logistic centers, office premises, tourist and holiday resorts as well as hybrid city centers.

Geoenergy in practice

Geoenergy is solar energy stored in the soil that can be extracted from the bedrock or from the surface of the soil. Using heat-pump technology, the energy stored in bedrock can be efficiently utilized both to heating and cooling, depending on the time of year.

Geowells are drilled into the bedrock, which operates like a battery: the heat stored in it during the summer can be used during the heating season. The electricity needed for production can be generated using green electricity at a predictable price.

How we provide geoenergy or hybrid-energy solutions

Adven offers geoenergy and various hybrid solutions for heating and cooling as a service, which means the property owner does not have to make any separate investments. Adven builds, owns, operates and develops the solutions.

Geoenergy for the various properties

Geoenergy suits for both new and existing buildings. On new building sites, the geoenergy solution is most often built directly under the building while for existing properties, it is usually built for example under parking lots or in garages. Geoenergy can also be utilized in city centers.

Shopping centers, logistic centers, office premises, tourist and holiday resorts as well as hybrid city centers: Adven has a wide experience in all these larger properties.
