Adven gave ViskoTeepak’s factory an environmentally friendly upgrade by renewing the heating generation systems

"In the past we produced heat with heavy oil boilers. After the upgrade, the heat is produced with the new solid fuel boiler. We are continuously making efforts to make our operations more sustainable. Thanks to our new heating plant that uses domestic fuels, the carbon footprint of our products’ lifecycle is reduced."

 - Joachim Lund, Factory Manager, ViskoTeepak

Adven built a new solid fuel heating plant ViskoTeepak’s Hanko plant in 2012-2013. The plant produces thermal energy for the plant. Adven also takes care of the operation, 24-hour monitoring and continuous maintenance of the heating plant.

The plant has total power capacity of 12 MW, consisting of 6 MW solid fuel boiler and 6 MW peak power boiler. The vast majority of the energy used by ViskoTeepak is produced with biofuel.
